What makes a software introduction successful?
Okay, a strategy of what the company wants to do. That’s clear.
Add to that “throwing off unnecessary ballast” to relieve employees. And another important thing is:
Education and training. Like sports or music.
No successful athlete/musician has got only 2 h “Train the Trainer Training” in the beginning, maybe it was even “unimaginable” 8 h training. Unfortunately, more is rarely invested.
And that is crap! That is not enough.
It needs a continuous training plan, individually tailored to the skills, level of performance and potential of the person/team or the process within which the person/team works.
Only then does the average performance level improve significantly and the investment in the software “flows back several times as ROI”.
