Our customers trust us not only in the area of neutral CRM consulting and implementation, but also beyond – as the following example shows.
A few days ago a customer gave us the following task:
“Please recommend a project management software that meets the following criteria:
- Headquarters in Germany and DSGVO compliant
- On Premises or Cloud solution with server in Germany
- Intuitive to use
- Different display formats possible
- Suitable for not too complex projects
- Including

- Communication and collaboration.”
When we hear the word project management, we immediately think of Trello and Asana. These top dogs are indispensable in today’s IT landscape and support the project staff involved in thousands of companies.
Unfortunately, this did not help us in our case, because the company attaches great importance to not storing their sensitive project data on American servers. This put Trello and Asana out of the running.
The vendors we then checked for the desired criteria were IBO, Blue Ant, Stackfield, Celoix, Kendo Manager, Axosoft and factro.

The Basic Cloud is free and for a maximum of 10 users. It already contains the display types structure tree, kanban and list. The Team Cloud costs € 7.99 per user and month. The functionalities are in addition to the Basic Cloud: read and edit access, define responsibilities, real-time notifications, review status for approval.
The Business Cloud costs € 19.99 per user and month. The functionalities are in addition to the Team Cloud: cross-project views, templates for recurring projects, Gantt chart (with predecessor/successor function), personal dashboard, user management and rights system, customer management.
The Professional Cloud costs € 29.99 per user and month. The functionalities are in addition to the Business Cloud: activity recording and controlling, calendar with Outlook synchronization, task history, create project drafts.
The minimum number of users is 3 for each of the chargeable versions.

In our opinion, factro is worth a recommendation. And not only if a DSGVO-compliant solution is sought. The range of functions is large, the display options are good. The different cloud offers cover the different requirements – from small teams with rather simple project tasks to extensive projects with the desire for service recording and controlling.
