The New Slack Platform: The Path to the Digital Office
Slack announced at the annual Slack Frontiers user conference that the Slack platform has been rebuilt and redesigned from the ground up. The goal: to give all employees in the company the opportunity to work with Slack as a digital office easier, more pleasant and more productive. Important features are: Reusable feature blocks, linking Slack to everyday tools, subscribing to these tools for a custom newsfeed, and news metadata that triggers workflows through events in other apps or services. In addition, there is Slack Connect to extend the benefits of the Slack platform to customers and external partner companies.
